Feel the FutureTM with our new sustainably-minded collection!
With Kinetic Sand Project Planet our goal is to inspire, educate and entertain through open-ended sensory play.
How is Project Planet sustainably-minded?
Our cases, tools and even the bags the sand is packed in are all sustainably minded and made with 100% Ocean-Bound Recycled plastic. Ocean-Bound plastic, is plastic waste defined as “at risk of ending up in the ocean” and is collected within 50km of the ocean but has not yet reached the water.
Project PlanetTM packaging is made from Forestry Council Stewardship Certified paper. The FSC is an international, nongovernmental organization dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests.
Through our partnership with the Nature Lab, the Nature Conservancy’s youth curriculum program, we are educating students on the science behind how nature works and how we keep it running strong.
Let’s Learn!
Why are coral reefs so important?
Coral reefs are vibrant underwater ecosystems teeming with life, and they serve as crucial habitats for a diverse array of marine creatures. Did you know that coral reefs are often referred to as the “rainforests of the sea” due to their incredible biodiversity and ecological importance? Coral reefs provide habitat and food for 25% of all marine species, protect coastlines from erosion and storms, and support the livelihoods of millions of people through fishing, tourism and coastal protection. Learn and explore the wonders of the coral reef with your little ones.
The Amazing Lives of Sea Turtles
Turtles are fascinating creatures that live both on land and in the water. Did you know that turtles have been roaming the Earth for millions of years, making them one of the oldest reptile groups? Turtles come in many shapes, sizes and colors, from tiny ones that can fit in your hand to huge ones that weigh hundreds of pounds!
Why is the ocean so important?
The ocean is like a bustling city underwater, filled with a mind-blowing variety of creatures big and small. Did you know that the ocean covers more than 70% of the Earth’s surface? It’s home to millions of species, from colorful fish swimming through coral reefs, to majestic whales roaming the deep blue ocean. We invite you and your little ones to dive into the enchanting world of ocean biodiversity and learn how each creature plays a role.
